I like that he is stressing that this team needs to forge its own identity. 2024 is last year, our guys need to be looking at 2025 and doing the work in practice to be successful. I’m encouraged so far. Going to be interesting to see how the younger guys factor in.

Holtz would say "I just hope we can beat Miami, they look tougher than the 2001 and 2002 teams"

Holtz was bemoaning how we couldn't run the ball, pass the ball, etc., and that we had no speed on the team.

When asked about Purdue, he put on that griping face and said "they could be the 3rd best team in the country behind Michigan and Miami!"

I am so impressed with MF's rapid growth.

He was asked a kinda stupid question about Eli Raridon's marriage and he turned it into a conversation about commitment. Zen.

The early season is going to rely on a hopefully strong run game and defense.

Let the QBs get settled in. I don’t know if we will be able to rely on a QB to win games early so our o line and run blocking might need to carry the day.

The latter part of the schedule should allow the offense to take off whomever the QB is. We need a competent pass game after years of mediocrity

In every way possible.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
