Who was the most inconsistant player at the beginning of the year last year? Riley Leonard. Denbrock saw him every day and knew what he was capable of at his best. You can't game plan for playmakers.

I would be more comfortable with Angelli at QB. We will find out about Carr in Miami. Minchey NO!

Angeli never demonstrated a good pocket pressure awareness

Solid player. I'd take these 2 over him.

No point arguing this with slovak, Angeli was his boy and Minchey is a big meany

for forcing him out the door. He'll probably stop watching ND if Minchey wins the starting job, that big meany.

He won a bowl game. He never screwed up in his other few chances. Maybe Carr will shine in Miami!

I can't disagree as a fan who is not privy to practice or the QB room. We just have to trust MF.

If we didn’t start the season with our toughest games this wouldn’t matter ..

Miami and A&M could end our playoff shot quick. An unproven QB gives us angst. Angeli might have been the safer choice to win early games but I believe either of the 2 on the roster now are better long term.

Coaches had to weigh all sorts of things to make the choice. We won’t know if it was a good call til mid September
