Watching the practice video

I see Minchey throwing a much lower trajectory on down field throws while Carr seems to throw a much higher arc. The film only shows a limited number of throws, but the difference is consistent. Minchey's throws have more velocity and get there quicker while Carr's would seem to more make it more difficult for a trailing defensive back to make a play. Just wondering if anyone has seen enough of the two to confirm (or negate) this and what it means in game action? I would hope they can both make the throws either way as circumstances change each play but have no idea if either is consistent with either trajectory.

Thanks to anyone who can contribute informed and legit information.

Not for Carr, and not for the team.

He comes out early to stretch, so he has more time for throwing before period 1. I like that.

The comment from the beat rider is that carr doesn’t like to stretch with the team. If true that’s

First of all, I'd love to know who, and the specific statement, that "Carr doesn't like to stretch with the team." I did find the following on X: " Something we've noticed in fall camp: CJ Carr doesn't stretch with the rest of the team before practice. Instead, he gets some extra throwing in. "I don't love to sit there and stretch and my mind is racing," Carr said. "So sitting there is kind of just like, I feel like I'm ticking. Just like, 'Let's go.' So I just like to go throw a little bit extra." That is a much different nuance than "Carr doesn't like to stretch with the team."

Sampson reported that Carr wasn't stretching with the team but the entire cite is as follows: "Not stretching with the team? Quarterback CJ Carr, who’s working on footwork and throwing comeback routes on the other half of the sideline." In other words, he is off to the side working with a coach and other teammates. This is neither noteworthy nor odd.

But it is typical Sampson who loves to throw shade at Freeman because he resents he doesn't have the same access to the team that he did when Kelly was coach. It was said that if Kelly stopped to quick, he;d have to have Sampson surgically removed from his ass.
