The program has juice.
The 2-deep hasn't been this talented since the early 90's.
The coaching staff hasn't been this talented since the early 90's.
Love is a video game.
Texas? Clemson? Penn State? Bring them on.

See you in section 117.
And those two things can cost you a game in the first game of the season in an away night game in a super hostile environment.
I agree with your other points but the first two games make me nervous.
I think the 2024 class is very underrated. Knapp and Moore were 3*s.
I would add that Miami is also not a good time to break in a new DC.
It's only been a few practices, but Carr and Minchey's performances make me think that it could take a game or two for the chosen one to get his feet wet. Agree with Albany that this team will challenge for a national title again. It's been a great off-season for ND (portal, replacing coaches and Bowden, etc.).

Hear! Hear!
If the team can escape the injury bug that plagued it last year, the sky's the limit. I'm not overly concerned about the "inexperienced QB" meme. Either Carr or Minchey can get the job done given all the offensive weapons this team has. Our D is going to be much stronger this year as well. The hand-wringing over the loss of Xavier Watts is over-done. We are bigger, stronger and faster this year than last season. Now, we just need to stay healthier!!!

Lou showed what can be done with a new starter (Rick Mirer), as long as you have a polished, strong offensive line, and a great running game.
I think he could have done even more, had we a slightly better secondary in 1990. We were three plays away from winning it indisputably, even with the holes on defense.
Stanford: Derek Brown catches the ball, instead of letting it fall through those big hands.
Penn State: Rick Mirer doesn't throw that awful interception that leads to the PSU go-ahead field goal.
Colorado: If the refs simply did their job, and called it correctly, Rocket's return would have been the icing on the cake.
Our defense couldn't stop Ohio State until late in the second half. Too many injuries on the d-line.
