Some of the criticism has been warranted
He's had a few late loses for some key interior guys and has failed to lock down the Chicago area. He's done a better job at recruiting end than at recruiting the interior and has done an overall better job of development than recruiting. This current class is one of NDs best in a long time, so kudos to him.

He's been recruiting Golden since he was a freshman.
DT recruitment has been disappointing and lacking, I think some of it was the NIL disruption. The Keon Keeley debacle, for example. I think Bevacqua has built NIL into a strength for ND going forward.
