Those guys didn't think ND had a snowballs chance in hell of winning.
1 - The crowd. Tim Prister said that was the worst crowd he had ever seen. He was scared he was going to get jumped.
2 - The QB situation. Even an experienced quarterback will get jumpy if he's pressured.
3 - New kicker. It may mean nothing or it might mean the ball game.
4 - Carson Beck. The word on the street is he has a huge chip on his shoulder. He doesn't think ND would have won if he had played.
5 - If Notre Dame can't run they can't win and Miami will make them throw the ball.
They did say ND would like Minchey to win the battle. I don't know where that came from but he does fit into Denbrocks offense.

not should, but could.
ND certainly has the athleticism and talent to play with anyone, but from what I have read, Miami gives out football scholarships too....and have some players with as much talent and athleticism. College football is played by a bunch of 19-22 year old kids with a pointed ball in front of crazy people imploring them to things beyond their imagination. What could go wrong? We have seen things go wrong unimaginably for 130 years.

basket.......big mistake. Big time arm talent but doesn't like pressure and doesn't like to get hit. Unless Chris Ash turns out to be the next BVG (I'll admit, I have my concerns) he's going to get pressured and hit a lot.
Beck is a prima-donna, one step above a slack-jawed idiot and charmin soft and Cristobal put their entire season on him being great. Be surprised if he makes it past halftime and the U literally has no one else. This game could get ugly.
Add to that, Cristobal is not the sharpest pencil in the drawer and this year could be a disaster for the U, not that anyone would mind seeing that.
41-10 ND.
Just passing out some info from a Canes podcast.
If he had any interest in defending UGA's honor, he'd have been there. Sounds like a steaming load to me
why many consider him a blockhead.
