If so, it makes me somewhat nervous. In any case, whoever is named will only mean that he is named to open at Miami.
Naming the starter at Miami is not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. He could play for one series, one quarter, etc. It's happened many times that the starting QB on a team ends up being replaced after a short while. If they are so close now, whoever is named could very well be replaced by the other until it is obvious that one is better than the other.
It sounds like they can both start, and have had ample time with the first team this camp.
He's not leaving anyone hanging who matters and no one outside of that locker room matters.

We need defined roles even if both guys play. And the play sheet can’t be limited based on which one plays. We have telegraphed enough of our play calling over the years with personnel and formation.
