Full pads, live play, ACC refs.

Marcus should have plenty to say afterwards.

20 minutes ago... Still undecided! MF is playing head games with the 'Canes IMO...

No he is not. He is reviewing film and then giving the 2 players the respect to talk to them first.

It's hardly an advantage.

Kenny and CJ are very similar.

Miami is prepping to stop the run. I doubt they're too consumed with which rookie QB starts.

He must have his reasons.

I hope that the final decision isn't solely based on the very last scrimmage.

If so, it makes me somewhat nervous. In any case, whoever is named will only mean that he is named to open at Miami.

Naming the starter at Miami is not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. He could play for one series, one quarter, etc. It's happened many times that the starting QB on a team ends up being replaced after a short while. If they are so close now, whoever is named could very well be replaced by the other until it is obvious that one is better than the other.

Per Marcus, they've both elevated their play and neither has separated from the other.

It sounds like they can both start, and have had ample time with the first team this camp.

I.E., We know who our starting QB is, nobody else needs to know until Aug. 31st.

He's not leaving anyone hanging who matters and no one outside of that locker room matters.

This is the most likely scenario. I bet we see both play in Miami.

Or perhaps play the hot hand? I hope the QB isn’t decided by game planning per each game.

We need defined roles even if both guys play. And the play sheet can’t be limited based on which one plays. We have telegraphed enough of our play calling over the years with personnel and formation.

Yes, the same playbook for both.
