Freeman may not make any grand public announcement, but he will have a starter taking starter reps this week in prep for Miami. While both can run the offense, Minchey and Carr have different strengths and weaknesses that favor different parts of the playbook. Denbrock needs to know which part of the playbook to feature in putting together his Miami game plan.

I believe it was by halftime or at the half.

I seem to recall that he quit the team just a couple days before the Michigan game in Ann Arbor.
