Today is the day, Marcus.

Name a starter, and coach them up.

Both QB'S have underwhelmed in camp, that's not going to change this week.

Choose one and focus on Miami. Time is up.

If that's the case, I blame Gidugli and Denbrock. Coach em up, coaches!

That's the word from "those within the program"

Per the ND nerds who live in SB and cover the team.

The coaches haven't been heaping praise on them either. Marcus was obviously pissed on Sunday at their play. Too many mistakes from both, routinely.

Which means our best QB transferred to Syracuse

That's what I wondered then and am wondering now. I don't trust those within the program.

Trainers? Coaches? Players? Groundskeeper? Equipment manager? Everyone has an angle.

As already said by others, Steve had a higher floor and a much lower ceiling. He was fine inside of 10 yards of the LOS, but not likely to win playoff games this year without some downfield threat and he never demonstrated that ability.

To reiterate, his arm is fine.

Exactly. Could make almost all of the throws.

Steve Angeli has an adequate arm, that he can make all of the short and medium range throws with ease. He also did this with good accuracy, and threw a very catchable ball.

I'd put his arm on par with Jack Coan's, in terms of strength. He can make a reasonably good long throw down the field.

He also showed reasonably good mobility.

My only knock on him was his ability to sense what was going on in the pocket, that he sometimes holds onto the ball too long, instead of chucking it away.

I think that he would have gotten significantly better when it came to tossing it away or even scrambling for a few yards, with more playing time.

All true. I am very curious to see if the carr or minchey can

Make a difference in the passing game.

Have to see it practically to believe it.

Fine. Just keep off of the bandwagon later this year. Don't be "that guy".

Well, one way to look at it is that they are playing against a great defense.

Would you pick one and practice against the 3s to build confidence over the next 2 weeks?

If their confidence was shot, yes.

Miami isn't the '85 Bears.

The first team offense needs 100% of the reps through next week, that's obvious.

Lots of pre-snap, procedural miscue's during the jersey scrimmage Sunday.

I hadn't heard about the pre-snap miscues, sounds like the pressure is getting to them.

That’s a problem. If we struggle offensively, we cannot compound that with sloppy play

The coaches decided after last season to have an open competition instead of annointing Angeli.

That’s fine but it’s on them to get these guys ready to play.
