Will be a nice addition as a 3 technique DT
My only regret about his ND career, is that he was playing nose tackle, and his size was on the smallest end for that position in college. I think he could have showcased his stuff even better if he were allowed to play 3 technique DT or even SDE instead.
I'm not going to question Coaches Lea, Freeman, and Golden for using him the way they did, since he was certainly productive and effective, and he would have done it anyways if it were best for the team.
In the pros, he'll be on the small end of the DT position (he's certainly not going to play NT), but if he's allowed to sub in and out normally, I can see his having a productive career.
He has had a very good camp, and since it's Al Golden's scheme, he knows the system intimately.
