In an age when so many suffer from sports adhd it feels so enriching to care about this generation’s Irish lads. I still see them as students at the school of our lady who toil and battle for our appreciation. At 78 I am still moved to watch them sway in sync at the end of every contest, win or lose, as they sing the Alma mater along with the student body. As the final words emphatically affirm, we LOVE thee, Notre Dame.
Corny right? It still feels good.

let alone anywhere. The "singing and swaying" obviously is not enjoyed by the players after a loss. And the most important thing at the time, the players privacy moments after a loss is what I hurt for.. After a loss I am ticked, not at the players but often about our fans who give up too early or yell and swear at the players and coaches during the game. Singing and swaying after a win is fine by me.

Fieldhouse and feel the emotion while cheering till you're hoarse for the players and coaches at the beginning of the "Era of Ara"...
Here's to a New Era of Notre Dame Football...GO IRISH!
On the other hand... I'm not crazy about staying in SB overnight.
...perhaps if Officer Tim McCarthy were still issuing PSAs about Traffic Safety after the third quarter, things would be a lot better ;-)
