Buried my Dad today, class of ‘55
His name was Charlie Weis (hence my username). We were tickled when they first hired the other CW. Obviously disappointed with his performance, but for one season, Dad had a ball when he went to the games, flashing his old ND ID card. South Bend Trib did a really nice story on him…front page with his pic with my son Charlie Weis III.
He taught me the love of the IRISH taking my brother and me to games when we were very young. We’re in attendance for all the big games FSU, USC, UofM …. too many to mention. Memories I’ll cherish forever.
Wish he could have made it for this season. He was a great man. An ND man.

When my dad spoke I listened. Eventually the hurt goes away but not the good times. I hope you and your family are doing as well as possible.
