to hash mark with two receivers one supposedly blocking for the other. It killed us last night. Denbrock's timing of calls is somewhat perplexed at the very least. Even last year it was iffy when he called for a pass with the lead and driving the ball against NIU. Now he runs that "ugly hold your breath that it doesn't get picked off" pass to the side. Well last year all we had to do was get a first down from midfield against NIU to preserve victory and he calls a pass on 2nd and 1 that was picked with a QB that had only fall camp to learn our system. This year on 2nd and 2 he throws the previously referred to pass which Miami knew was coming. It also shows a lack of confidence in Carr who I think is going to be excellent because he already is good and very cool. He is Book with a better arm and better size, though maybe not quite the runner but far better than Angeli.
Get Love the ball, let him run on that 6 man box Don't pass it to the flat on a defense baiting you to throw it while they crash down on it.
later in game they told him to forgwt the read just give Love the ball.

tackles. I think we have more talent ever where else but there. We have the potential to run the table, if we take it one game at a time. I know that is a cliche but as poorly as we called plays we could have easily one last night. A little bad luck hurt too. I hate the two week break after a loss but it is probably good with the tough loss last night that probably physically and mentally whipped us.
