In 1990 Holtz lost to unranked Stanford and 18th ranked Penn State. Both at home
In 1991 he lost to 13th ranked Tenn at home and 8th ranked PSU on the road.
In 1992 he lost to 18th ranked Stanford at home.
In 1993 he lost to BC at home.
Heck, even in 1988 he needed a late FG and then a missed FG from Michigan to avoid losing.
All those teams were more talented than this ND team.
If it's arm wrestling...I'll take Freeman.
