I think the most frustrating part of week 1….

Was how winneable the game was. Even with all the mistakes, we were within striking distance. The interception was a killer and sometimes it’s a play or two that decides the game. That being said. I am expecting improvement against A&M. We have to jump on them early and often. The crowd needs to do their part and get loud when the lads are on defense. The team needs to feed off that energy.

most frustrating part to me was it looked like ND was just letting Miami dictate the game. I was

He was 50% when ND was in man.

Do the math.

Need to play zone better. Can't just can it as an option.

I agree and certainly didn't expect that type of performance after last year's incredible playoff

run. I really thought the program had turned the corner into a Saban-Esque type of program. It still might and I think the A&M game will tell us a lot.

I wouldn’t mind it either. I will be cheering for Miami because I don’t want SOS to suffer.

For sure. How often does a team get dominated in the trenches, lose the turnover battle

and still have a chance to win the game in the closing minutes.

We lost by 3 pts in the last 64 seconds, were dead even in almost every category

Go look at the grades for the Oline for that game. They were dominated.

Then go watch the tape and look at Miami's run game and lack of pressure on Beck..........dominated.

As the saying goes "There are lies, damned lies and then there are statistics."

Where do I find these “grades?”

We lost by 3 pts in the last 64 seconds. Once again that’s hardly being dominated. The score is all that matters.

Miami also had long drives…

The fact that we managed 24 points when Miami had almost a 2 to 1 time advantage is a head scratcher. I go back to when we ran Carr on the goal line on 3rd down. We get him in the rollout or play action and we maybe get 6 points.
