really impressed with CJ’s down the field throwing and said the ND offense looked very explosive. He said he wasn’t sure if it was something Miami was doing defensively or ND just wanting to protect CJ in his first game, but was surprised ND didn’t take any down the field shots and says they definitely are capable of being an explosive offense and should be fine.

Was it possible WRs were not getting open? Those damn RPOs & CJ making the wrong decisions?
No coaching adjustments made? Would CJ have enough time to even throw it downfield with our OL and all? Would a steady dose of Love and Price really have been the medicine for all our ills on offense? Not to mention our D could have helped CJ out by making a play every now and then.

If Denbrock and Freeman don't let CJ cook next week, something stinks.
Taking some shots against Maimi would have done wonders for the offense.
ND won’t do it, but the entire offense lends itself to a power running game and
deep passes. The offensive line has been recruited to run the ball not pussyfoot around in a spread off.
And we wonder why we don’t get quality WRs and pocket passers.
