I know it’s just Utah State. Their qb is very quick and nimble, and will present a challenge to contain. Not a great passer, but has athletic receivers who go after the ball. A solid running back. A fast pass rush. Our tackles will need to work. All in all, not a gimme by any means. Glad we’re at home. Elko is also no fool as a coach.
I expect us to be ready and we better be.

He’d be a fine interior lineman, he’s just not a LT.
The way he's built, he's better off as a finesse type guard, or even a center.
I honestly thought that we would have kept Jagusah at LT (before the injury), and move Knapp to RG, since that would be more of his natural position.
Or, maybe even move Aamil Wagner to LT, since that's more of his build as well (athletic, lean, faster on his feet).
Let's not write off the guy who started almost every game last year and won the job in camp.
I know a lot of folks want Jagusah there when he comes back but it looked like Knapp was the guy at LT with CJ at guard before the injury. Doesn't mean he would've come outta camp as the started but the people in the know seemed to think he was the guy.
AK was clearly struggling with the heat last week, probably played into his and others struggles in that group. Let's hope that was the issue.

......play in person, ticket prices will be ridiculously low for the rest of the season.
Especially if Miami finishes undefeated. Southern Cal could wake up this year, and that would give ND a quality win.
This is a weird year so far. SEC looking as weak as it has been in 20 years, and Ohio State lost a lot of talent from last year. They beat Texas, but I could see them losing 1 or 2 down the road. Penn State tends to be exposed as a fraud.
We should be able to run the ball, if we commit to that. And our d is a lot better than the Utah State d. We have to focus, play w intensity, and execute our line assignments.
