Goods news is that Indiana can't possibly play for the NC with this schedule

Old Dominion
Kennesaw State
Indiana St.

How in the heck is this team even ranked #22?

Thread Level: 3

Why? They play three top 10 teams?

Who do we play?

That’s why we have to win tonight. Actually beat a ranked team.

If the play in the BigTen championship game, win or lose, they will be in the playoffs

Glass house, rocks.

They play 2, 4 and 9

We play 10, and 16.

Our schedule sucks as well and if we don’t beat Texas A&M we could be in trouble.

Thread Level: 4

Missing the point. They have three straight games their third string could win.

Our overall schedule difficulty ranks 40 in D1, acc to Pro Football Sports Network. IU is 60th. Quite a difference.

And stop worrying about other teams. Especially ones that have to play three top ten teams. Looks a little silly.

If we don’t beat A&M we have serious problems. We will have e lost to the only two ranked teams on the schedule.

They have 3 guaranteed losses

Illinois, Oregon, and Penn State.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Illinois is a “guaranteed” loss?

Illini are hardly a guarantee to beat the hoosiers

Growing up about an hour from Champaign, I have been an Illini fan for about 70 years. But like the Cubs, I have spent to much of that time just hoping they don't go winless or have so many injuries that they can't field a team the next game. Of course, Illini basketball, like Hoosier hoops, is another matter. But this Illini team is without any stars unlike recent Coach BB teams. Altmeyer is a good, talented QB, but no Trevor Lawrence or Joe Burrow and the rest of the roster is solid but given to blunders and poor judgement. They do not have a Chase Brown, Isiah Williams, Jer'zhan Newton, Pat Bryant, or Tommy Devito that are certain to be NFL bound and can be counted upon every Sat. I don't see them remotely at the level of Oregon or Penn State. They sure could beat Indiana in Bloomington, but it will not likely be an easy task.

But then what do I know.

True. Little chance they win any of those.

Their asshole HC can enjoy a worthless bowl game no one will attend or watch.

Emotions aside, they can beat Illinois at home, and they can beat them badly.

Game is a disgrace. There are at least two high school teams in Indiana who would give Indiana State

a game. Cignetti is a punk, and he behaves like it. Worse than James Franklin, by a long way.

3 games and IU has yet to play a D1 team. James Franklin would be proud.
