On O: Love, Price, Carr, Raridon and Fields all had respectable games.

On D, Moore, Schuler, Tay Tay, KVA, Hinish, and Bowen also did reasonably well.

There’s quite a bit of talent on this team and I liked the flashes of energy that I saw in Love and Bowen, and for a second start against a top 20 team, I thought CJ did well.

We should have won that game by at least 2 scores.

And Raridon may be developing into a prototypical ND Tight End U. player.

board as being a washout and embarrassment to TE legacy

He is. He's also the only person Carr seems to look at. It's alarming he's not finding Greathouse

Unfortunately he won't have the opportunity to compete in the playoff.

Tay Tay needs to play a lot more.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

And position the team for a 26 run. Need to spend offseason cash on interior DL with size

2 “good” losses early in the season is not fatal in the current system.

Carr is the real deal. Coaching needs to be better.

I think he has the best arm since Brady Quinn (Better than Clausen)

Improvement from game 1 to 2 was noticeable and rookie screwups were minimal

Made a lot of nice throws last night and the running game looked better. Teams will load the box against us but we can’t abandon the run. I am feeling more confident that the offense will be better each week, but Denbrock needs to get rid of the wildcat and focus on our strengths. Rudolph needs to light a fire under the Oline and maybe let the guys know that he is willing to give reps to the backups.

Thread Level: 5

Agree on both Rudolph and Wildcat. O doesn’t seem broken.
