A total of 4 points. Despite our two coordinators. Despite a HC who stood there and watched it all go down. Despite a bad long snap, a good snap but bad hold, missed tackles, the no arms tackle technique, bad coverage, no coverage, no contain, missed interceptions, missed blocks, no discipline, no technique, no pressure, and no sacks. With all that going on, both games went to the wire. IB feels that it was athletic talent alone that kept the games close. Not sure how Coach Ash is going to meet with his players and convince these young dudes that his Purdue game plan is one for the ages.

We had them on the ropes early with the blocked punt and in 3rd and long until that poorly tackled
pass play gave them an incredible jump in belief they could beat us. Another momentum killer was when the poor guy got hurt after two big plays by us and we played the next few plays with 60% effort and they played with 120% effort.
