So, there's that.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Freeman also decided to hire a guy who's past defenses allowed 38, 29, 31, 37 & 29ppg

You think that a hire of a guy who's defenses would be doing good to give up 30 in a game makes sense then I don't know what to tell you.

Wondering if MF's mentor, Jim Tressel urged him to hire Ash??

In the playoff era it's dumb to open with back to back major opponents.

That's why no other team does it.

The rest of the schedule is a cake walk compared to some other programs. also Texas A&M will flame out like they do every year so don’t worry they’re not a Top 15 program. They lost 4 of last 5 last year.

It’s completely idiotic but front-loaded schedules may be the cost of independence

If so then we need to do as much as possible to schedule games to maximize chance of winning not a top ACc and SEC team back to back.

You can't tell me that the athletic dept. can't figure a way to schedule teams ND typically plays with a couple heavyweights mid-season instead of opening with two top 15 teams. Move fucking teams like Purdue, Mich. St, Boston College, Pttt up to the front. ND has scheduled like clowns for years.

Nebraska is 3-0 with essential scrimmages in their last two games before they play Michigan Saturday. They use the schedule to their advantage. ND schedules themselves and uphill mountain every fucking year.

Most teams want big out of conference games early. USC is trying to do it too.

He doesn't seem much of a strategist, lacks some foresight. Great recruiter. But he waits too long to make necessary changes.

You can live with Denbrock. But, at this point Freeman needs to take over that D. If he doesn't want to tell anyone, fine. Let Ash save face. But it's that or Freeman stays in the frying pan. Ash has proven completely incapable. Blame the players if they want, but the talent is there. If it's not executing that's on the coach.

You wonder at what point the AD steps in. I hope Freeman rights the ship,l and ND wins the national championship, but how long can we allow him to do too little too late?

Game 1 HE decides to take his AA out the game instead of the opposition doing it🤔🤔

Game 2 no adjustments on the DL, poor clock management and after a TO for the play of the game you come with a weak 4 man front??🤔🤔

Then of course TWICE having those inexcusable blunders against Ohio St by not having enough men on the field.

Trend of absent mindedness in big games is disturbing
