Dabo's outright refusal to dip into the portal has hamstrung his team

They got 3 from the transfer portal this year and nobody questioned the talent before the season.

And plenty questioned the talent, including the powers that be at Clemson. That's why they are threatening to leave the ACC.

Clemson was preseason AP #4. It was not perceived to lack talent.

I don't understand your other point. If the alleged talent deficit is the result of not using the TP until this season, why would leaving the ACC affect that. Miami and FSU are in the ACC and annually rely heavily on the TP and rank high in TP recruiting.

The powers that be is not Dabo. They need TV dollars. I live in Charlotte

If Dabo hadn't won titles with 2 generational QBs he'd have been gone years ago.

They were #4 because they are one of the only teams with a returning QB and has a lot of players come back.

Dabo's outright refusal to add transfers until this year is a major reason why he has to defend his tenure one year removed from a playoff spot they backdoored into last year.
