have a major weakness. Nothing that is crippling. We have two different backs, ride them both. CJ will make SOPH mistakes, but ride his arm. He throws a nice ball and is mobile enough. No more handcuffs or kid gloves, cut him loose and see that aggressive play will outshine the fearful what-ifs.
The Offense is very capable of scoring at a high level. Enjoy it and use it. Don't waste the talent that is there. Let it thrive.
Price is much better suited for tough Ds and DLs. Use Price to open up Love, and Love to open Price. Use the run game to open up the pass game, and use the threat of a deep pass game to open up the run. This Offense has proven it is multifaceted. It has way too much talent not to easily score points and a lot of them. All the varying parts can easily be used to open up other parts. Whatever Ds try to shut down, there is an offsetting answer with our diverse set of skills. With this group, we should never again see timid offensive game plans.
Take the coaching fear that concocted the Miami or TAMU game plans and throw it in the garbage because that is what it was. Those were coaching mistakes rooted in fear. Own it and move on. Use the lesson it taught and let your O execute to save the D.
They are obviously not being coached well. And that D sure does not appear to be the Golden defense that wasn't going to be anything but tweaked. It seems they were sold a bill of goods.
Phrases like "Next man in" and "put your best performers out there" and "we have to execute" shouldn't apply only to players. These kind of problems can be insidious and infect the rest of the team unless remedied quickly. You can see it already.
