Would you all think that this is the most important game of the season?

A loss will most likely lead to a few more. Three losses and we aren't even out of September. A loss and we are out of the playoffs and we aren't even out of September. A win gives the slim chances alive for another playoff run. Another week to work on this defense. I feel bad for our offense. They can throw and they can run. Each week getting better. Moving along like a "tremendous machine" (thank you Chick Anderson). But instead, everyone is talking about the defense.

Each week's game from here on is the most important game of the season.

like to see us win our upcoming games, with opponents scoring 20 or less points instead of winning 50-40.

I am hoping the team responds this week, like last year’s Purdue game.

Coming off an embarrassing loss to NIU, the Irish totally dominated Purdue.

I really believe this is a good team with greatness potential. It starts tomorrow morning.

Would really like to see them be disruptive on defense, especially in the front seven. Turn em loose.

Just my 2 cents… God bless & Go Irish 🍀

This is like last season. Every game is the most important game of the season until their next loss. After that it probably doesn't matter.

I agree, and what a great opportunity for the defense to assert itself.
