Lets face it 22 out of 30 for 354 yds the kid can be special.
Does anyone want to dispute Freeman picking Carr over Kenny now ? Imagine what next year or even 2 yrs starting in this offense will look like especially if we atleast just maintain the OL & RB recruitment and then improve WR with more speed and height ?
No getting around it the 1st two games suxed but I believe I see a rainbow forming in the horizon
What do you see ?

Seeing him play in 2003 as a true freshman was painful.
I was actually pleasantly surprised at his having decent stats in his 2nd year (2004).
Tyrone Willingham insisted on running that stripped down version of the West Coast Offense, and his idiotic OC, Bill Diedrick, couldn't change a play on the fly to save his own hide.
It wasn't unusual that opponents with decent defenses knew what we were going to run even before we snapped the ball, especially since Diedrick tailored it to be a more run-heavy offense.
While it was certainly possible to run a WCO with a running emphasis (Jim Harbaugh did that at Stanford very well), the level of competence between Harbaugh and Willingham was rather sizable.
