Took my son to his first ND game today. Carr gave him his wrist band. Ha!

ND travelled well.
I knew we would win during warm ups. Everything w ND was just business. Everyone in sync, coaches working w players, at least 3 team huddles.
Arky was just a mess. At least1/4 of the team not out there, zero organization. No huddles I saw.
It was a stark contrast.

How were the Arkansas fans? How was the stadium and campus?

I never had a problem with them back when I'd visit their stadium, back when I'd make the trip to watch the South Carolina Gamecocks play.

Today, they were more annoyed at their coach laying a stinker in the stadium, judging by the booing. How an offensive line coach who didn't even have any coordinator experience was their choice is a mystery to me.

He has had one good season, two mediocre seasons, and the rest were rather poor. I'm guessing he's on the chopping block at the end of the year, since they can fire him if he has a sub .500 season with fewer dollars in his buyout.

Late last night I searched out the Arkansas forums & insider post game analysis.

They're out for blood but not until season's end. It has to do with Sam's payout after a losing season. As we did here, Razor fans were throwing out potential names with Gruden on top. Mike Gundy was mentioned also. They seem to be willing to surrender 2025. One interesting thing from the insiders. They feel the defense has no basic football instinct or knowledge and that contributes to why they are always out of position. Coach Pittman alluded to that in his post game presser. Good luck to the Razorback bros. I feel your pain. Been there, done that.

Well, so much for waiting until the end of season because of the buyout.

That is a great souvenir for him to hang onto - I suspect that it will be worth a lot down the line.
