My thoughts from the game at Fayetteville

When was the last time we scored the first 6 times , touchdowns ? I can't remember. Love and Price are super elite players ! Carr. Just wow. He has all the tools. He will be special. Made that one throw that could have been picked , but other than that he was amazing. The fake punt ! I was like just run it and get the first but no Faison wanted the 40 yard completion. What execution. The Arkansas fans were nice. There were a lot of ND fans there. It was amazing to see that dominating of a performance when we were favored by - 5 1/2 !

My first visit to Fayetteville. Great college town and terrific fans. We were treated well all weekend. They expected to lose but obviously not like that. Over half of the stands emptied at halftime. Nice showing by the Irish faithful.

The predominant coed attire of short dress and cowboy boots was a nice diversion.

WOOO PIG, SOOIE!!

A friend was a photographer on field and also noticed how organized and focused ND was compared to UARK during warmups.
I caught a glimpse of Freeman running into the tunnel after the game and he was genuinely pleased. He took it all in with a huge grin.

I'm convinced they canned Pittman after Memphis. There was just no possible way to fire him mid-week with all the build-up/marketing/Lou Holtz, etc.

I wonder how the fans like the idea of Bobby as HC and the power given to him.

He fired virtually the whole defensive staff. this morning. They only have one conference loss so a program can only dream.

....they seemed open to Bobby returning. Mind you, this was on Saturday before Pittman was fired. Rhett Lashlee at SMU seems to be very popular, given his Arkansas roots. Personally, I think he'd be better off staying at SMU given the wealthy donor base there and the fact that the ACC is a much easier conference to compete in.
