It doesn't seem we'll have the same kind of explosiveness. But I'm excited about K. Young and A. Williams.. With a good Oline, they should be able to move the chains consistently. It'll be interesting to see how ready Osborn and Walton will be as Freshmen.

RBs have the shortest shelf life of any position. And the NFL favors RBs with less miles.
Barring injury, Price is gone as he has little to prove that is going to get him picked higher than he already is.

Risk/Reward is to go pro.
1. He is already in his 4th year so the pros will already have enough tape on him so another year of college has limited upside re: draft level. Sorry, he isn't going to win the Heisman and he isn't going to be a 1st round pick.
2. The risk of injury, and he saw what injury cost Morrison, offsets what marginal one year difference he makes versus salary level in the pros as well as getting to his 2nd contract which is where the real money is.
3. Assuming he isn't a 1st round pick, the last pick in each round slotted annual pay is as follows: 2nd: $1.8, 3rd: $1.5, 4th: $1.2. Since Love, a Heisman candidate, is reported to earn about $1.5M in NIL, Price is unlikely to get close to that and the difference to last pick in the 4th round money is therefore minimal.
All in all, I bet he goes because his upside is getting to the pros sooner versus staying in college.
If he is projected to the 4th round or up, he will likely go, considering a RB's shelf life. Not many running backs are drafted in the first two rounds so I would imagine he would go pro if he is projected 4th round and up, even with a load of NIL.
If he keeps up this level of performance, he can be a 2nd day, or at the very worst, an early 3rd day pick. He will have shown two solid years of performance.
Unless you're a talent like Saquon Barkley, Eddie George, Larry Johnson, etc., NFL teams want running backs with low mileage on their tires.

Assuming Kedren Young recovers fully from that injury...
Even at this time, Aneyas Williams is the best back when it comes to the passing game, and pound for pound, he's the strongest guy out there.
Nolan James has all of the tools and can likewise do it all. He has already gotten some playing time in the way of 8 carries, and returning KO's. Prior to our flipping him, the talking heads were stating that he could be the best RB at Boston College they've had since Andre Williams.
I'm eager to see what the two studs in the 2026 class can do (Osborne, Walton). Walton is a lot like Williams, that his strength to mass ratio is ridiculously high.
