It was perhaps the worst officiating that I have seen in a long time. It was like the SEC refs ignoring Donovan Hinish being held on the game deciding play for a full 4 quarters.
I think that is is very safe at this point to say that the ACC hates our guts. If we can't get different refs, I would rather join a conference than deal with this mistreatment. We are occasionally jammed by the opponents conference reps, but the worst hose jobs consistently come from "our own" ACC.
I can't imagine sitting through the heat, all the stoppage in play, TV time outs, and penalties that were on full display yesterday.
I agree that their performance was the worst I've ever seen...and the sustained BOOING' from the crowd could have been heard in Mishawaka. What made it so intense was the repeated JumboTron evidence of how wrong they were. It was a credit to the Coaches and Players to soldier on through those 'Distractions'. Nice to see the pressure on BSU's QB and some solid tackling...holding BSU to 7 points through all that was an accomplishment.
They make ACC refs look like the gold standard.
They were not MWC according to the link, although another article says the were MWC.

it “appeared bad both ways” as they covered their tracks.
Was listening to radio on way home, that is why I thought they were ACC.
Addendum: Turns out they were ACC officials.

At the game, you could see the whole field plus the replay on the Jumbotron which was going out of its way to challenge the ref BS (and was not being shown on TV in every case.
I will say that it didn't affect the outcome....but not for their lack of trying.
last yr at the Virginia game. Freeman was equally pissed w good reason then.
Look, I’ll watch the game again anyways, but the critical calls they made sustained multiple BSU drives, bled clock, and inordinately impacted ND by comparison.
We still won, but they should never be allowed to ref at ND again.
