One thing that was concerning were the penalties on offense against Boise. Does that open the door for the other players or is the coaches refocusing the team on the fundamentals? I think the defensivd penalies were the result of us being aggressive. But is there a threat of reduced playing time if the trend continues on offense?
There's a good channel on Youtube called MIBT (make it be there) that talks about the purpose of refereeing. The ongoing message of the channel is that players should play, and only call fouls if they are obvious and potentially impact the game (other than safety fouls, which should always be called if witnessed).
But, we'll see. Two, as they say, makes a trend.
