Per MF at his presser. The Wildcat isn't going away. It's evolving.

My question as a fan is can we at least take out CJ and put in Kenny as a possible passing or running twist to this Wildcat play?

True, if we can't shitcan it, at least make it useful.

That seems to be on life support. What is its success rate?

Horrid. I don't like it. But apparently Love read it wrong & could have walked in....but....

regardless, if he is reading it wrong, it still doesn't work. i am with you.

Hate having QB as a blocker which is useless and dangerous. Plus it makes it 10 on 11 which is bad also.

If Love takes it outside behind CJ's block, we're not sweating it so much

I vote a resounding no on CJ blocking for that play. Unnecessary IMHO.

And keep them guessing who gets the ball and the other is the lead blocker.

We don’t spread them out so why worry about 3 guys in the backfield

Not a fan of the Wildcat. I cannot imagine with Love and Price, we don't use that 2 headed monster in short yardage. Put them in the backfield and let Carr RPO with what the defense shows. The Wildcat just lets the D know Love is getting the snap.

He allowed the defense to look the way it did for the first 2.5 half games of the year. He's not in

fallible.

How long will it take to naturally evolve into a QB sneak? Or 2 backs with Carr in backfield?
