Hoping we open the NIL coffers for Price next year

Might be able to make more than he could in the NFL and would give him a chance to be a feature for the first time.

Star RBs can make more in college than on an NFL rookie contract, at least for a year

Great RBs go in later rounds and get a rookie deal that underpays them while they get banged up, decreasing their value for when the rookie deal expires. Few NFL RBs beat that system.

Give him Love's NIL + his own ...it's already baked into this year's deal.

Aneyas Williams will be a true junior, and pound for pound, is the strongest guy on the team.

Kedren Young should be back from that injury.

Nolan James has been looking good in practice, and even got a few carries already.

The two backs coming in for 2026 (Walton, Osborne) aren't going to be sitting.

Just as a note:

Jonaz Walton is up to 215 lbs as a senior, runs a 10.6 time in the 100m dash, and squats 600 lbs already.

Javian Osborne runs a 4.45 in the 40, and has some truly remarkable juke moves.

I wouldn't be surprised to see both guys playing notable time next year.

No reason to overspend on a RB with our pipeline.

CJ Carr, Leonard Moore, Tae Johnson, etc.

I love Price, but that's one position we can handle some attrition at.

Disagree. He is elite

He is elite, so is Love, obviously.

If you can pay everyone, that would be ideal. But I think there is a limited amount of NIL to go around. I wouldn't mortgage the future for one year of Price if it meant losing other elite and/or upcoming players.

The question would be: How much is Price worth to the team that has Williams, Young and James with Osbourne and Walton coming in?

Would paying a large sum to Price mean we lose an OL or two? Edge rusher? etc... Just my thoughts. I do love Price and it would be great to have him for another year.

Guessing that Price & Love enter the draft.
