Assuming that there's a consensus to fire Franklin, there are plenty of wealthy donors who would happily pony up the money for the buyout.
Or, they'll dig into that $4.57 billion endowment.
I think he gets a for mulligan this year, assuming he finishes with at least 8 wins, since he did take his team to the CFP semifinals last year.
