PSU fired a coach months after reaching the playoff semifinal. Coaches that have reached that level want no part of a school that would do that.

ND/Swarbrick took a huge chance on him and it eventually paid off. He's paid in top 10 and top 5 for his staff. He seems to get what he wants....which he should.

Except the article never called PSU a slight upgrade over ND.
They called it a lateral move at best. Which means it could be a downgrade. There wasn't much to article, it was an op ed, but not so incorrect.

As a fan, I'm worried about Saturday night. It's up to the coaching profession to decide if PSU is a lateral move or slight upgrade.
Nebraska stinks in a mediocre league, LSU struggles, MF loves us, and Cignetti is an ass whose
current star will fade. I think it will be Cignetti.
