It seems that there was some trash talking after the game was over.

Kennedy Urlacher did get a mention for being in the scrum.

From this view, it simply looks like some ND guys giving Urlacher some friendly exchanges.

It was a walk off. Old school rules. First model walks, then second model duplicates and elaborates.

If he did, he had no impact

He played on special teams

I'm surprised he hasn't put himself higher on the depth chart. When he played for us, he showed excellent instincts and very good athleticism.

I still wish him the best. I simply think that he got caught up in the moment / hype.

I think he should have stayed at ND. With ND Special teams he could have built a resume

I wish he would have stayed, but seeing how our guys have developed, I'm not sure...

...if he would have cracked the starting lineup.

If anything, Luke Talich has proven himself too good to stay on the bench, and we have some highly talented and hungry true freshmen at the S position.

That, plus Joey O'Brien coming in next year, along with Ayden Pouncey, would have made it more difficult for Urlacher to crack the 2-deep.

Don't get me wrong. I want him to succeed (except against us), and hope that he can truly find his niche at USC, and become the star I think he can be.

It's just that we have quite a nice current and future roster when it comes to the S position, and I want the best man to start.

The cameras also showed a few ND and SC players smiling with their arms around each other...

Riley didn't even shake hands with MF.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Every time we play they strut and taunt. Then, they usually lose. FUSC.
