LSU significantly better than PSU and better than UF. 3 different coaches have won 21st cent. NC
UF was great under Meyer and Spurrier but not much else.
PSU has barely sniffed a title in 40 years. They are a clear second tier BIG team behind Ohio State and Michigan historically, and Oregon this century.
LSU has as good a talent pool as any team. Louisiana has great football, and they can pull from several adjacent states as well. Florida has more in-state competition historically with FSU and Miami.
