Plenty of subway alum love Notre Dame because they are Catholic. You diminish yourself and the school when you post like this.
Unlike other subway alumni, I got into ND but chose a different school. The fact that is was more highly ranked mattered less than some other things, but I know personally know several ND grads who would have gone there if given the choice, and not a single fellow alum at my school who would chose ND.
I hate posting like this, and won't diminish my school by naming it, but you make a post like this about once a quarter and I think you should stop.

I am not a fan of punching down. It’s fine to be proud of your Alma Mater but you don’t have to bring others down.
Notre Dame is a special school for a lot of reasons and I’m on this board for that reason. Subway alums are a major part of the mission of the school, not just the football team. I imagine many non-legacy admits had both grads and non-grads help them get in because they feel the same way.
ND is an exceptional institution, but there are certainly other more prestigious schools academically. Not many, but some. When I see posts like this I cannot help but point this out. I wouldn’t say something about my school unless it’s to attack a bully. Maybe I’m being hypocritical but I think it’s rich to attack someone’s spirituality because they didn’t go to a specific school.
The Subway alum are part of NDs “mission” irrespective of football? What are you talking about?

For sure not calling for Kiffin. The guy was canned on the tarmac by Pat Haden at SC because he was
caught with the wife of a huge SC doner. He then was hired by Saban at Bama who also fired him for messing with the wife of a very famous alum. ND would never hire this guy. I just wanted to point out where the salaries of college coaches are headed. I am not an ND Alum but I am blest to be the cousin of (my hero) a former ND captain and National Champion. Above all I love Notre Dame!
