Reminder - the same person who gave Kelly $95M…

…also gave Jimbo Fisher $95M at Texas A&M.

Scott Woodward, current LSU AD.

He should clearly pick another amount. 95 seems a bit jinxed.

you’ve got my vote and check $$$$$$ then a private dinner at one of Brennan’s restaurants back door rooms. Turtle soup or Seafood Gumbo, an excellent bottle or 10 of Chateau Rothschild 2004, 18 oz bone in ribeye? Filet Mignon Adelaide? More wine, cigars and cutting remarks about their X coach and big check promises.

They pulled in $618 million in donations back in 2023.

I'm sure that if the fanbase really wants Kelly and co. terminated, the donors will (grudgingly) chip in more $$$ to make it happen.

If you are going to pay him anyway, and he's unemployable, could you make him an analyst?

If they keep him as an offensive analyst, he'll probably convince them to keep running delayed draw handoffs deep in the shotgun on 4th and a half inch.

Seriously, though, he'll probably find an easy MAC or Sun Belt level job in the near future, where he can once again dominate the kindergarten playground, coast to his retirement, and laugh all the way to the bank, courtesy of LSU's generosity.

Would love tosee him get the Penn State gig. Though Matt Rhule is uglier and dumber...

Most PSU fans I hear from would be happy with Kelly

They're basically in the same position that LSU fans were after Ed Orgeron had a couple of mediocre years after taking them to the promised land. They just want some order restored.

I'd guess that Brian Kelly would do decently at Penn State, getting them back to regular top 25 placement, and challenging for top 10 positioning, but in the end, he wouldn't be much of an upgrade over James Franklin.

I don't see his being able to beat tOSU at least one out of every four times.

They aren't going to find a top tier coach who would be willing to leave a good situation.

I still think it's going to be Matt Rhule, since he's a Penn State alum, and he's very well liked by the PSU faithful.

AD Pat Kraft & Rhule are former teammates. Rhule is mediocre at best. If Rhule is a bust
