You wonder if Freeman would consider the relative stability of ND vs other jobs if offered.

It seems like ND performs a far more measured review than other schools before dropping the hammer. That and, if he does win a Natty at ND, he's a legend.

I guess the biggest question is whether the AD takes a proactive stand $$$ wise and moves him to the top of the NCAA coaching pay scale.

And then there's the SEC schedule and lose or you're out mentality. 3 losses would be pretty easy to come by sooner or later vs setting your own schedule at ND. I'd think the same for pros. They change coaches at the drop of a hat.

He should. I do believe the SEC league is very difficult to stay in as a head coach.

Its not going to be hard to have 3 or 4 losses in the SEC every year. ND is actually a pretty attractive place to be right now IMO.

The odds of him leaving are higher than most likely realize.

He was sniffing around last year, particularly the Bears job but we kept winning.

I would be surprised, but not shocked...if that makes any sense.

I think he'd leave for the right NFL job or OSU

ND will keep paying him more and keep giving him more resources. Not sure he'd leave for anything else.

If you look at the last few since Lou he could get away with murder.
