He is a very bright guy born from an area of street brilliance. He grew up just over the bridge from Boston in the poorest city in Massachusetts, Chelea.
His dad had a good job so he missed out of public hs and went to THE PREP, as they call it. Pat Connaughton's school. I know several guys from there who have lived on Cape Cod with me the last 2 decades and share the same fairways. They might have gone to Umass then Suffolk Law, but street savvy was their gift. Hale and Dorr. That is BK.
He saw LSU was not a gift. The SEC has always been a pro league, players paid since Billy Cannon played for Ole Miss. His mind is beyond coaching players from the hood. At Penn State his niche is better with big Polish linemen from Bishop McDevitt to Philly. Regional minds of players are different.
He created his exit. The LSU AD is not Mensa. Sit tight and watch where he ends up. He won the day in the crazy world he exists.
