I know everyone wants something to talk about, and rankings are always talked about
But hear me out, there are still a lot of games left to play. This is the first ranking, and it will change, next Tuesday night, based on what happens this weekend.
People will choose the facts that fit what they want to think, and only give as much information as absolutely possible. What about the Oklahoma's schedule is harder?

I don't see anything on here that looks amazing or better than the ND schedule. They also lost to the two best teams they played against, Texas and Ole Miss. Their best win is against a Tennessee team no one thinks should be ranked other than the CFP committee. I'm so tired of the ND is overhyped, get special treatment bullshit.

Most of the chatter is that what Oklahoma has done already is better than what ND has done. Alabama does not enter that discussion, they haven't played yet.
Even still, Alabama will be a game that decides their fate. If they lose, they are done. If they win, then yes, 2 loss Oklahoma should be ranked ahead of us.
Look at the schedule they've played up to this point in the season and tell me what makes it so much better than what ND has played. That was the point I was making in regards to the Sooners fans being outraged.

It's absurd for any one fanbase to be angry about another specific team getting ranked higher
Especially this early in the rankings. You could make arguments against any 2-loss team to be out of the running. There are 11 teams ranked higher than OU, and you could make an argument against about half of them being higher than OU based on who they have played and who they have beaten
3-loss teams without a Conference Championships are going to need a miracle to get in. Sooners fans know they will have 3 losses when they get spanked by Bama and want to bitch about a team that won't have a head-to-head victory over them like the underwhelming UT team this year.
Everyone behind us is outraged... as always.
