Well he won't be the first, Rocket and Theismann both should have won. Rocket created the most havoc

for the teams playing us ever. Paterno even said he was one of the greatest college players ever. Theismann almost won us a national championship and the guy who beat him for the Heisman played for a team that lost 4 games when they only played 10 or 11 every year.

As for Love the only player that approaches his dominance at his position is the wide receiver from Ohio State who is clearly the best at his. If you add character, Love wins.

I feel so. He has scary speed and is stronger than people realize. In the right offense in the NFL,

It's hard to beat out the quarterbacks

Unless you have a year of good, but not great, quarterbacks playing, and happen to have some truly outstanding player elsewhere, it's usually going to go to a QB.

I think Mr. Love has a good head on his shoulders, and if my guess is correct, he'd see the Heisman Trophy as a nice thing to have, but in the end, he knows that there are far more important things, such as winning a NC, and getting drafted at a very high position.

Great hypothetical: if we were undefeated would Love be the Heisman favorite?

I vote yes! I’ve seen too many mediocre Heisman winners who won only because they played for undefeated teams.Surely the best back in the country could beat the QB bias if we had no losses.

I think likely. Opening with two losses knocked him out of the conversation at the time...and the
