Not saying it’s likely but he does have a point.

The 5 highest ranked conference champions are guaranteed a playoff spot. P4 conference champion winner alone does not guarantee a spot.
Imagine this scenario. Duke could make it to the ACC championship game. If they win, they would likely not get a playoff invite, opening the door for multiple Group of Six conference champions.
Since five conference champions are guaranteed to make the 12-team bracket, No. 24 South Florida (highest-ranked Group of Five champion) would replace BYU as the 12th seed and Miami (projected ACC champion) would replace Oklahoma.
So I am reading this as the ACC champion is guaranteed a spot.
A P4 conference championship does not guarantee a playoff spot. Again, it is the five highest ranked conference champions that are guaranteed a spot. That might not include the ACC champion. My example of Duke - far fetched as it may be - shows that the ACC champ might not get a playoff spot.
P4 conference champion. If that's the case, that P4 champion would not be guaranteed a playoff spot, as the guarantees go to the 5 highest ranked champions of the 9 FBS conferences.
we'll be 9 after this week.

Outside of WVU this is probably the game the fans want to win the most.

Because what you are saying is likely complete BS.
Nobody believes what you are sellling.
Why is “College Gameday” there?
It’s your biggest game in 20 years that’s why?
Why didn’t the guy at the bar ask out Sydney Sweeney? Oh silly, because he knew she’d say yes, and then he’d have to deal with all that paparazzi? What’s the point, right? (Yeah, 100 points, just like that guy.)
