Pretty weak and low move by LSU in my opinion
I'm going to have to see some pretty interesting facts to justify (a) now claiming Kelly was not fired, and (b) now claiming his future firing is for cause. Looks like a sad attempt to get out of their own financial choices. I hope Kelly makes a full recovery, and whomever takes the job next might want to think about the way they will be treated on exit.

There are rumors on some LSU sites about "cause" including
a "sex party" involving player(s), coach (not BK), recruiting staff. Also, a possible affair between BK and his realtor around the time he filed for divorce (which he subsequently withdrew). As I said, there are RUMORS. But, I'm sure LSU is investigating as possible means to terminate with cause.
Likely set Kelly up in some compromising positions over the years, just in case.

The way I see it, either way, Brian Kelly still walks away many millions of dollars richer, no matter what happens. It's not as if he's poor and destitute, especially after all of those years we paid him.
