Easy solution: Use Lou's wishbone formation

Get a backup tight end to play fullback with Price and Love. Easy TDs and you can also pass to Rairdon as that's usually open.

i believe holtz ran the T in short yardages. and, yes, ND should run that.

Yep and used defense back Jeff Burris in the formation. Scored a few TD’s.

Updated. RZ offense #120. This is not nitpicking but an actual big picture issue.

With all our weapons and we can't score from the 1 inch line against a non playoff team? What does that say about Round one and beyond. Every team has issues is not an answer. I know MF was upset about that, the Pitt time out, and our defense totally standing around on the final Pitt TD. He said so. What is he going to do about it 10 games in? This is sounding like a broken record. And on top of that, a FG attempt is a "no go" . How far can the Irish advance with these two issues?

Denbrock needs to move on,.

The red zone debacles are all on him.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
Invincibility with no vulnerability

i don’t like his scheme, play calling or prep. I wouldn’t mind seeing Rudolph and him move

on. Rudolph has proven to be a great recruiter, but I’m. not seeing the development of said talent. Similarly, with rare exception, ND’s oline has rarely been the difference in a game.

Chris Watt is a possibility.
