If SC beats Oregon next week, does that guarantee us a bid?

Assuming we win out.

Too many 2 loss sec teams at this point to be 100% comfortable.

Can see Oklahoma dropping one of their final 2. Not because of who they play

but because they're a bit jekyll and hyde and Mizzou and LSU have talent.

Based on what I can tell. If one of these two things happen we are in

TT wins Big 12 or OSU beats Michigan. Those are the two bid stealers barring absolute chaos’s down the stretch.

Thread Level: 3

Not sure but I think you are right. It's complicated.

Texas Tech should win. If I understand correctly, if Michigan beats OSU during the regular season and all other B10 teams win out, the Big10 championship game would feature Indiana vs. Oregon. From what I gather, if Oregon loses that one, they will not be penalized and retain their present spot over ND. Wouldn't this scenario leave ND out of the playoffs in favor of Michigan? This is assuming that Oklahoma jumps ND on Tuesday.

Won’t happen but I think Michigan is still in the mix. Win out and take the big ten guaranteed

If ND is ranked 12 or better, they get an automatic bid

As if stands right now an ACC team and group of 5 team still haven’t taken one of the spots

Thread Level: 4

OK, they'll be 10 at worst.

I'll take 10. They'll drill whatever garbage is 7, then avoid OSU in the next round.

Yeah should be 10 at worst but just depends how the committee views this. We beat a top 24 team in the road and it was over after the first quarter. Do they keep Alabama in front of us or behind?

Thread Level: 6

Beating a Top 24 team is suddenly a big deal?

Especially since they won’t even be ranked at the end of the season.

It is a crap shoot in ratings from 13 and on and maybe from 11 and on.
