Styles had an elite track profile, just didn't click at WR. Maybe returns is his thing. I recall...

A catch he had vs OSU and had a clear path of grass and I thought ok, if he's as fast as track numbers he should house this. he got going and just geared down. Was disappointing but just shows that a lot of what you do on a track won't transfer to the field if you can't get your body to do what you want. Very mental game. Glad he's seeing some success.

Disagree... He was hitting a pretty good stride in the 2nd half of 2021

With Jack Coan throwing to him, he was starting to rack up some respectable stats in the 2nd half of 2021, especially in the Fiesta Bowl.

In 2022, the QB situation was terrible. He was getting wide open across the middle, to the left, and even deep to the right, but Pyne would either not look his way (locking onto Mike Mayer in double coverage), or was unable to make the throw (20+ yards).

If Styles had someone like Sam Hartman throwing to him in 2022, I think he could have become a bona fide WR1 for us.

Nonsense, he couldn't catch the ball, that was his problem.

The real story here is not the return but the fact that he caught the ball in the first place.
