Solid Win but 3 Major Red Flags

I am very pro-MF and rarely question his moves, he knows what he is doing. However, 3 possible major flaws that will cost us in a CFP game reared their heads again.

1 - When Raridon failed to simply go through or jump over the defender at the goal line I said out loud "Well here we go again, we are not getting in and I bet we get cute." Sure enough, it happened again. I proposed this earlier and still do not understand why we cannot go back to the under center, 3 TE looks we used with Book & Kyren which were incredibly effective. Hell, copy Lane's 2 Tackles in the backfield stuff Ole Miss runs. It is mind boggling. Do we simply not have QB sneak as an option? It was less than half a yard and we don't feel we can get it? My only hope is that we have been secretly working on this and will only unveil it in the CFP.

2 - Denbrock should never, never, never be allowed to call another quick throw to the outside. Ever. Again, hoping we are setting things up for the future and do numerous pumps to that look then throw deep.

3 - Game management before half. I have seen this from MF in multiple games. With 17 seconds left we were in total control, get the ball coming out and at best had little to no hope of our junior high level kicking game hitting one. Just baffling that we did not take a knee and nearly allowed a possible game changing fumble while almost getting CJ decapitated. I get the aggressive mindset but there are times when it is prudent to just take a knee.

Hoping we end up the 11 seed for the matchups. Would LOVE Indiana again in 2nd round. Go Irish.

Good points but so far Carr's one major issue, and I love him, is not seeing before executing. The

pick six on him should never have been thrown. I hate the quick throws because at least once a game it looks like it is going to be picked. Number 3 I said to my wife I hope we don't get greedy and sure enough we almost gifted them the ball and momentum.

He's learning from every mistake. I'm glad they are coming in games that are less crucial.

He also has a bad habit of throwing into double coverage on deep balls.

Like most, love the kid but he's not a finished product by any means.

do much more than manage us. He learns every week, he just needs to learn when somethings not there it's not there. I love the way he bounces back and am very confident in his accuracy and in general his touch. What I also love is our receivers almost never drop a pass. They catch everything. Even in the Book years we dropped a ton.

Red zone and short yardage woes are all Denbrock.

I put him in the 26-50 category but now I think he's not even that good.

I think creativity is the problem.

Recall he had CJ Carr as the lead blocker on the wildcat.

Creativity is an issue, but just line up under center and give Love the ball.

Field awareness IMHO is a gift. It comes natural. Eli apparently does not have that gift.

We see WRs running an out a yard in front of the Styx. No awareness. Our guy seems so focused on catching the ball and running with the ball not thinking where he's at. It does need to get fixed and I believe it will.
