What I learned from watching football yesterday.

The kicking team who recovers an onside kick cannot runback a recovered kick. It is not a penalty for a player to leave the playing field and run up into the player tunnel with teammates, then return. Apparently, that is not considered excessive celebration. "Roughing the passer" has different interpretations for different affiliated officiating crews. Joe Tess means well but he's better suited for the WWE.

OSU, Bama, and Georgia are among the nation's leaders in RZ defense and, when you figure in that Okie, Indiana OSU, Georgia, Texas Tech, Oregon are among the nation's leaders in Scoring Defense, it might be a slight cause for concern. It hasn't been fixed 10 games in so what miracle will Denbrock perform to change things around? Our D is good enough to compete with the big boys, but sooner or later not taking the 3 or missed opportunities from inside the 5, hell, inside the 1, is going to cost this team. I don't want to rah rah my way through this but rather look at our weaknesses and how the second round and up will exploit those weaknesses. It would help if we get some of these linemen back.
